Welcome to Frontiers

FRONTIERS, a Network of Excellence supported by the Sixth Framework Program (FP6) from the European Commission, aims at establishing leadership in research and innovation on behalf of life sciences related nanotechnology. The network represents eleven nano-technology institutes scattered over Europe. Jointly about 200 researchers bring together a considerable knowledge pool in Europe.

NABIA LOGO NaBiA IS BORN
On 27th January 2009, the first 25 partners of NaBiA, the European Alliance in Nanobiotechnology, have met for the first time in Brussels to launch this joint initiative of Nano2Life and Frontiers.

RM 2008 FRONTIERS RESEARCH MEETING, 23-26 JUNE 2008
This year we have chosen Heraklion as the venue in order to facilitate a joint session with our sister network in nanobiotechnology, Nano2Life. It appeared to be a very good opportunity for FRONTIRES to meet with the partners of the Nano2Life consortium, to make new friends, and to exchange our respective experiences and perspectives on establishing durable networks.
