Introduction

The ultimate aim of activities in WP3 is to establish a joint European curriculum in nanotechnology for life science. One initial step towards that goal has been to make available master thesis project at the participating partner universities for students with a nanotechnology profile at all partner universities.

At each Frontiers partner university there are many courses available within the field of nanotechnology, life science, the combination of both fields and important complementary subjects such as for example entrepreneurship, management and communication. These courses have been identified and a continuous update of available master thesis projects and courses are presented on a dedicated web-site:

The principle for student exchange within Frontiers joint curriculum is that the students receive their degree from their original university, while having the opportunity to take advantage of the educational content available within the network. Students can be reimbursed for their extra costs in conjunction with visits for studies at the partner institutions through the Frontiers project.
