Partnership and structure of the consortium
Within Frontiers, we aim to leverage the potential and existing quality of some of the best groups in nanotechnology that Europe has to offer, in order to create opportunities for Europe to become leading in one of the most exciting areas within nanotechnology: instrumentation for analysis and manipulation of the bio environment.
On the basis of this objective, 11 partners (approx. 200 researchers and key staff) were chosen using the following criteria:
Proven excellence in research, State-of-the-art equipment, Best practice in commercialization and nanotechnology education, Proven strength in international cooperation and Willingness to integrate in a Network of Excellence.
